Last Night of the Proms
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary, we have something special in store
For the opening of the Festival in the Field on Tuesday 22nd expect thrills and fireworks during a ‘Last Night of the Proms’ style celebratory night of classical delights. We’ll be bringing you the 42-strong professional orchestra, Skipton Camerata, with tenor Mark LeBrocq and soprano Mary Nelson.

The Manfreds with Special Guests Dave Berry and Maggie Bell
For those of you who enjoy the sounds of the 60s
The Manfreds will be coming to town with their full line up, including the wonderful Paul Jones. They’ll be treating us to classics like the Mighty Quinn and 5-4-3-2-1, as well as bringing some special guests along too. Don’t miss out, as it’s sure to be spectacular!

Comedy Night - Ross Noble
The free-form comedy whirlwind that is Ross Noble will be filling the marquee with laughs by the barrel full
Ross’s rapid-fire Geordie wit and instinctive gift for surreal vivid imagery has won him such praise as ‘The supreme master of spontaneous stand-up and most exciting comic in the country’ from Time Out and ‘the most brilliant stand up of his generation’ from the Sunday Telegraph. An Evening with Rick Wakeman
Self-proclaimed ‘Grumpy Old Rock Star’
Rick Wakeman will be bringing his ‘moogs’ to Grassington for what promises to be an evening of weird and wonderful keyboard-led rock. The former YES member is now equally famed for his story telling as his music, so this promises to be an enthralling and interesting night out!

Last Night Party Featuring The Proclaimers
Our now traditional last night party will be one to remember this year!
We’re delighted that chart-topping brothers The Proclaimers will bring the Festival in The Field Programme to a storming finale with uplifting hits like ‘King of the Road’, ‘500 Miles’ and ‘Letter from America’ plus stacks of new material.
