Friday Night’s Party Night: British Electric Foundation + Special Guests + DJ
29 June 2018 | 8pm (site and bars open from 7pm)
Venue: Festival in the Field Marquee
Grassington Festival is proud to present a unique and exciting performance by the British Electric Foundation featuring legendary artists.
British Electric Foundation were formed in 1980, the brain child of Martyn Ware (The Human League and Heaven 17). The group showcases a variety of different musical artists performing classic songs with an electronic slant.
Martyn Ware has assembled a stellar line-up featuring the full Heaven 17 band performing songs made famous by the stars themselves as well as cover versions in the inimitable BEF electronic pop style and featuring:
Peter Hook (Joy Division & New Order), Peter Hooton (The Farm), Glen Matlock (The Sex Pistols), Jaki Graham, Mari Wilson and of course Glenn Gregory from Heaven 17.
This is definitely a night of amazing music not to be missed.
