Introduction
Use of the Grassington Festival online booking facility constitutes an acceptance of our terms and conditions. It is the customer's responsibility to retain an up-to-date copy of the terms and conditions as they are liable to change from time to time. Purchasing
- When you purchase tickets for Grassington Festival on-line, your credit card transaction will be processed via Secure Trading's on-line, secure, credit card/debit card [transaction] payment system. The URL of the payment form page begins with https:// - this means that the page is hosted on a secure server and all transactions taking place are encrypted, so your card details are protected.
- When you make a purchase, your card will be processed by Secure Trading's online payment system automatically for the whole amount due. Once it is processed and accepted, a ticket order reference number will be displayed on your screen. This is your proof of purchase: please print it out for your records.
- Tickets can be bought up to the day before the event takes place but tickets will only be posted if they are booked 5 or more days in advance. We aim to send tickets out within 7 working days of the booking. (Please note we do not despatch tickets on Saturdays or Sundays)
- Where tickets are not posted please print out ticket order reference number and bring it with you, along with the credit with which you made the purchase, to the venue in order to collect tickets.
- If your card is declined, then a message to this effect will be displayed on screen and the ticket purchasing transaction will be void.
- Concessions, where available, need to be supported by proof of entitlement. Please bring proof when you collect your tickets.
- Grassington Festival reserves the right to refuse admission.
- All ticket orders are subject to a fixed handling charge of £2 per order.
- All event details are correct at the time of purchase, but events may be subject to change without notice.
Exchanges and Refunds
- Tickets may be returned to the box office for resale up to 2 weeks prior to the event. However, returned tickets will only be put up for resale once the event concerned has sold out. A £1 handling charge will apply on all resold tickets and we cannot guarantee a resale will be made although the box office will endeavour so to do on your behalf.
- Grassington Festival is unable to issue refunds except as stated under 13. and 14. below.
- Grassington Festival is unable to replace or refund tickets that are lost damaged or stolen.
- Grassington Festival online booking facility will offer a refund if we fail to send information regarding the purchase to the box office or send incorrect information to the box office or otherwise have acted in negligence.
Cancellations
- In the unlikely case that an event is cancelled, Grassington Festival will refund the cost of tickets purchased for that event. Grassington Festival will make all reasonable efforts to inform you in advance of the cancellation although this may not be possible. In such circumstances customers should contact the box office in order to arrange a refund.
- All tickets are sold subject to Grassington Festival's right to rearrange events, including cancelling or postponing performances due to events beyond their control. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Comments and Complaints
Grassington Festival is committed to providing an excellent service. If you have any concerns, please contact us with your comments and we will do all we can to put it right for you. We endeavour to respond to all complaints within 48 hours.

If you do not wish to be contacted in this way, please ensure that you tick the appropriate box on the checkout page. We will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.

Where there is any contradiction between these terms and conditions and specific rules or terms of use detailed elsewhere on the site in relation to specific content or functions, the latter shall prevail.
